The Family Help Center, a non-profit community based organization committed to the welfare of children, has an opening for the Director of Daycare Program.
We are recruiting an experienced professional whose sole mission is to make a difference in the lives of infants and young children and create a unique environment where children can learn, play, and explore. Due to the team of exceptional staff, the program is a springboard for discovery and mastery of new skills that will create a solid basis for educational success.
Minimum qualifications include an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education; Bachelors Degree is preferred or NYS Children’s Program Administrative Credential. Prior daycare program supervisory and managerial experience is required.
Preferred: Current NYS Teaching Certification from Birth – Grade 2.
Manages, directs and coordinates all aspects of the program and maintains excellence and quality of care for children and families in accordance with NYSOCFS Daycare Regulations and licensing requirements. Ensures enrollment targets are met and recruits, trains and supervises staff; fosters an environment that is extraordinary.
Familiarity with the Pyramid Model is preferred.
